Joshua Lawson is a social entrepreneur, author, and educator whose work sits at the intersection of re-entry and recovery, entrepreneurship education, and inclusive economic development. Based in southern Ohio, he founded Recover Appalachia to address one of the most overlooked gaps in his region's economy: the exclusion of returning citizens from meaningful participation in economic and civic life. Through hands-on training, he equips people with the tools they need to reclaim a sense of agency and build meaningful futures.
